The Stila Illuminating Powder Foundation has SPF 12 sunscreen in it, so why leave home without it? The texture of this product is really smooth and transperant. The barely there feel makes your face light and not cakey. This product can be used wet for more coverage or dry for a lighter feel. The Silver casing is smooth and makes it easy to find whereever you take it, and is refillable!!!. My friend always had such wonderful skin and make-up. When I asked her about it she recommended this powder foundation with SPF to me. Having acne prone skin I was afraid to go away from liquid foundation because I wasn't sure a powder would cover my acne scars. I'm so glad I tried it because I ended up loving this stuff! You can layer it on as light or thick as you like without it caking over your bare skin. Mind you, I tried it with liquid before and it looked cakey. Bleh! If you don't want to buy it without trying it first, ask the Stila rep at the counter if they could make you a small sample or put it on you so you can wear it for the day. I love this powder and its case. I've dropped it a million times and never once has the powder cracked. The smooth and light feel on my semi-dry skin is impressive. You don't have to wear foundation because of the great coverage. I highly recommend this product especially if you have dry/combination skin. It has nice light coverage for my sometimes dehydrated/combination skin, without being "visible", which foundation should never be. It has a small pump, which is a nice change of pace over open-mouth bottle. The salesperson recommended I use my finger rather than my typical sponge, and I am amazed how much less product I use, and you get no streakyness that way. This product seems to have more pigment than other department store brands, but its texture and light feel are not compromised. I've tried so many foundations I've lost count. I've been in search of one that provides good coverage yet is *completely* natural looking and I finally found it with Stila. The effect is flawless perfection. I am completely hooked on Stila's Illuminating Liquid Foundation (50 Watts). I read about the effects that this wonder juice can bear, so I figured I'd give it a shot. The exact comment I read was "People always think I've had something done when I wear this foundation". Now, I'm 36 years yound and don't have much in the way of lines, but I do have occasional blotchy redness and leaning a bit toward the oily skin type. When I put this liquid on my skin, it makes my face look flawless! My skin evens out perfectly, and without using any concealer and the like. Not only that but even with semi-oily skin, I have a young, dewy (not oily!) look goin' on!.
